The Story
Back to college shopping is supposed to be fun. Mostly it is stressful, because you are decorating a room with somebody you have never met.
What We Made
The Made For U College Styler. It asks a few fun and easy questions like where is your happy place and how do you do breakfast, and builds a room out of more than 400 back-to-college products.
We made films with Aspyn Ovard, Kevin Droniak and Madewin, all about to start college themselves, showing how the tool made moving in with a stranger feel a little more like you.
The Outcome
It gave incoming freshmen something to talk about before they ever met. Roommates used it to break the ice and work out a shared style together.
A shopping tool that turned into an introduction.
